Product Description
"Yakuza 6: The Song of Life is the final odyssey for long time protagonist Kazuma Kiryu, so it's only right that we send him off with our first-ever Yakuza premium edition. The ""After Hours Premium Edition"" contains all the right tools to loosen up after a long day of living up to the nickname ""The Dragon of Dojima."" The intense human drama and magnetic world will be on display in a stunning hardcover art book. Designed with Kiryu's ferocious dragon tattoo, two bar glasses (280ml) are the perfect receptacles for your beverage of choice. Cool down your drinks with a pair of heat action branded ice stones. Protect table surfaces with style by placing your glasses on top of two official Tojo Clan branded coasters. All of these essential tools will be housed within a collectible outer box.
In Yakuza 6, Kazuma Kiryu will find out exactly how much people are willing to sacrifice for family - be those ties through blood or bond - when he investigates a series of shadowy events that involve the ones he holds closest to his heart. Fresh out of a three-year prison sentence, an older and weathered Kiryu comes to find out that his surrogate daughter, Haruka, has gone missing from the orphanage he looks after. The trail leads him to his old stomping grounds in Kamurocho, where he discovers that she has been struck by a car and now lies in a coma. To make matters worse, Kiryu learns that Haruka now has a son that he must look after. With baby in hand, Kiryu journeys to the seaside town of Onomichi, Hiroshima to unravel the truth about Haruka, her son, and a sinister secret that the Hiroshima yakuza are harboring.
From the unparalleled realism of the new setting of Onomichi, a beautiful, sleepy port town in Hiroshima Prefecture, to the latest evolution of Kamurocho, the biggest red-light district in Tokyo, Yakuza 6 is the ultimate iteration the game's blend of gritty crime story, hyper-explosive combat, and all the vices and distractions those locales have to offer.
Enter the “Dragon Engine” - Explore the world of Yakuza like never before. Yakuza 6 is the first current-gen Yakuza title that was developed from the ground up for the PS4, introducing the seedy Japanese underworld with detailed visuals, lifelike animations, a new physics engine, interactive storefronts, seamless transitions and more.
Explore Kamurocho Reborn and the Scenic Views of Onomichi - The hypnotic lights, opportunistic inhabitants, and hedonistic distractions of Kamurocho look better than ever. Revamped minigames like karaoke, batting cages, darts, hostesses, and the SEGA arcade have been streamlined for maximum pleasure, and new additions like the RIZAP Gym, Cat Café, and Clan Creator are the purrfect distractions after a long night of bashing heads! But it’s also time to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life to play tourist in beautiful Onomichi. This tranquil coastal community is home to plenty of local activities like bar mingling, spearfishing (think action-packed rail shooter … with fish), and more!
Let the Bodies Hit the Floor - Yakuza 6 Kiryu is a 100% certified thugfed OG, so that means he’s a battle-hardened veteran when it comes to the art of street fighting. Although he utilizes one fighting style this time around, you best believe Kiryu hits like a truck. Devastating combos and bone-breaking Heat Actions make a return, but now the Dragon of Dojima can fill up a meter to engage Extreme Heat Mode. When activated, Kiryu glows blue and unleashes heavy-damage combos with his fists or any “tool” that’s close at hand.
Fully Voiced Japanese Audio - For the first time in series history, every line and piece of dialogue is fully voiced in Japanese. Let the dramatic story and absurd humor of the series unfold like an interactive foreign film experience."

However, I needed to mention how worth your money this edition is, especially if you compare it to other collectors edition, which, for the most part, give you junk and are upwards of $100 or more. This one cost me $76 and I can say, without a doubt, that it gives you the most bang for your buck. There are some practical items in this box, and I just want to go over them. Of course, not everyone will like the items in the box. Your preference will vary.
First, the packaging. It's a sight in itself. The box has a dragon design all over it and, if you get nothing else from this edition, that box is worth keeping on your shelf just for that design. It opens in a elegant way, displaying the contents inside.
I'll start with the coasters. They're solid, though made out of hard cardboard, it seems like. But they're nice size and I feel like they'll be able to take a beating and last.
Next, we have the ice stones, which come in a little black bag. These are amazing quality and have a good weight to them. I've never used ice stones in my life but they will look good to display even if you don't use them in drinks.
Next, the art book. Its not the biggest but it does have nice art in it. Definitely worth looking at.
And finally, we come to what I believe is the best part: the glasses. Now, I was not expecting these glasses to be, one, this big and, two, this detailed and finally, constructed with actual glass. I was thinking they were going to be plastic. No, my friends, these made from actual glass and have a dragon design etched on them. They have a solid weight to them and can be used to drink anything, not just alcohol. I was just absurdly surprised by the quality.
All in all, if you coming everything, this is the most "bang for your buck" collectors edition out there. And it also includes the game, which is $60 in on itself. So you get the extras for $20, which is so, so worth it!
Yakuza 6 is a spectacular finish to Kazumas story and still wish he would be in the following Yakuza 7 when that happens.
Plenty of mini games to kill lots of time in this game
Explore Explore Explore every nook and cranny
Use weapons on the street and heat mode your fist into someones face repeatedly
The collector edition is something I will cherish a long time as we never received any special treatment on prior releases..Bought 2
Deserves more then 5 stars
The combat system is the downfall of the series. It’s merely a button masher with flashy finishers. You can get away with using the same repetitive combos throughout the game. While it sounds like a major downfall, it really isn’t because the other areas of the game eclipse the simplistic combat system.
I put over 300 hours into this game and it never got old. I cruised through the story in about 26 hours. Once I beat the game, I immediately started it over to play the mini games and side quests, as well as just explore the locations in first person view and feel completely immersed.
I have recommended this experience to everyone I know. Gamers—both hardcore and not. It’s a fantastic story that everyone should experience.
Regarding the extras in the premium edition: the art book is beautiful with official art as well as fan art. The glasses are nice quality. The stones kept my Suntory whisky cold and the Tojo clan coasters were a nice touch.

the game is superb itself hands down. its not as good as yakuza zero because on this one they focus more about the new engine.
just one thing though. dont rush the story just enjoy the open world. there is a lot of things to do in this game. like seriously ill give you some examples.
1. Fishing not just any normal fishing game. find out for yourself
2. making friends at the bar
3. Gym mini games
4. lots of hilarious and memorable side stories
5. cabaret club and live sex chat mini game trust me it gets more intense later
6. darts and some arcade games.
i could list em all there is just way to many..
the story is just the icing on the cake.. i recommend you buy this after you played Yakuza zero and yakuza kiwami. so you have an idea on what the hell is going on the entire series.. just to be clear this is the last chapter of the main protagonist of the franchise so do a bit research or play the other games..
